Whew...busy week. We had the baseball game on Saturday and then the Brickyard on Sunday. Tyler loves going to baseball games so he went with us on Saturday, but his cousin Heather stayed with him on Sunday.
He has been so clingy lately. He hates it when I have to get up and get ready for work in the morning. He loves laying on me and snuggling. He wants me to carry him around all morning as well. And now, he has started wanting to get into the shower with me. It's so fun playing in there with him. Anytime the water hits him, he just giggles and giggles.

He is making me a nervous wreck though when he plays in the backyard. He constantly is climbing up the slide of his playset and then running around on the platform which is probably at least 5 feet high. He gives me heart attacks every time he gets near the edge. I told his dad that we need to "enclose" that platform thing so that the only way up or down is the slide. Maybe that will make me feel a little better.
I swear I don't know where he gets his energy. He is a constant blur of motion from when he gets up until when he goes to bed. And he no longer walks anywhere. It is a full out run....as fast as his little legs will carry him. He gets great delight in running from me. He will stop when I tell him to (most times), but when I get within an arm's reach of him, he is off again. It is one big game to him....he is laughing and giggling the entire time. It is so hard to be stern with him about running away when his little face lights up with laughter.
We are having his 18 months pictures taken in less than 2 weeks. A lady who works where I do is doing it. She is so awesome and takes great contemporary type shots. I am so excited!!! I truly hope that he behaves well and is "picture" cooperative, if you know what I mean.
