Cell Phone Shot - I Heart Faces

 
As you can see, it has been an extremely long time since I have posted to my blog.  I saw this challenge on I Heart Faces and decided to participate.  I thought immediately of this picture taken with my cell of Nate sleeping the other day.  It took me over an hour to get the little booger to sleep.  He is so stubborn....hmmm...wonder where he gets that??  Can you believe those eye lashes and lips?  He is so totally precious...makes me weepy just looking at him.  He is now 20 months old and has decided that he really doesn't need a nap during the day.  But, when he does finally cave, he cannot sleep at all if he doesn't have his ducky or his Scout.  I have created a monster...

Nathan's One Year Pictures

We had Nathan's 1 year photo shoot on the 6th of June.  We headed out to the Indianapolis Museum of Art for them.  They turned out great.  Lindsay Johnson took them, and she is so awesome.  You should check out her work at http://www.lindsaywilsonphotography.blogspot.com/.

Mowing and bubbles

Now that summer is here full time, mowing is in full swing.  Last year and the year before, Ty would ride on the mower with James.  Now that Nathan is here, he has to take both of them.  Normally, Ty gets the front and part of the back, and Nathan gets the rest of the back.  The front and part of the back has too many turns for Nathan.  While it's Nathan's turn, Ty loves playing with the bubbles.  IT has to be his favorite thing right now.  When he went for his ear tubes a couple of weeks ago, he chased the nurse back to the OR (without mommy or daddy) while she was blowing bubbles.  She said that he was even trying to pop them while they were putting him to sleep.  The boy loves his bubbles definitely!  It takes a lot of concentration for him to blow them.  He still has a small hole in the roof of his mouth making it very difficult for him, but he gets it done and is oh so proud of himself when he does.

High School Reunion

A couple of weeks ago, James, Tammy, and I headed off to Tammy and my high school reunion.  It was an all alumni reunion.  We had a good time.  It was nice heading out, dressed up, and without the boys.  We met up with some old friends.  Boy, has everyone changed.

We had Nathan's 1 year birthday party at the beginning of the month. It was a lot of fun. We were supposed to have it outside, but it was pouring down rain. So, we had to move everything inside....kinda stressful. In the end, though, it all turned out pretty well.
